How to submit a technical support case?

How to submit a technical support case in our new technical support system?
  1. If you have accessed Microchip web pages in the current session, close the web browser and open it again.
  2. Go to
  3. Click My Support button

4. Click My Cases button

5. Log in to support system by entering the Email address and Password. If you do not have an account please create one using Register for an account link.

6. New Registration page. Fill the required fields and press Save my profile and continue button.

After saving the profile data the following message appears.

7. Press New Case button

8. State the reason for submitting the case in the Case Reason section and after that select Category and Sub-Category, then press Next button.

9. Describe the issue in the Details filed and press Next button.

10. Add additional info and press Submit or Submit and Add Attachment button.

11. If the Submit and Add Attachment button was pressed at previous step continue with attaching files by pressing Choose File button and select a local file, then pressing the Attach File to upload the file and closing the dialog by pressing the Done button.
